Someone claiming to be a crypto specialist contacts you and offers promising profits. All you need to do is deposit money onto an intermediary platform to get started. These offers are often fraudulent.

You can find a list of platforms known for fraud on the Financial Services and Markets Authority's (FSMA) website.

However, scammers act quickly: before you know it, they may have created a new platform, and the fraudulent platform may not yet be identified.

Have you fallen victim to a scam and lost money or shared your bank details with scammers?
